Champagne Bar

First time visiting the Champagne Bar and it exceeded my expectations. I've been wanting to try it for a while and finally had some free time whilst in Sydney. I was greeted immediately with friendly service and great energy from the moment I arrived.

I enjoyed a glass of Pommery whilst taking in the beautiful view… an effortless, elegant experience. I came quite early in the day, but I can already imagine how special this place would be in the evening atmosphere.

I love the champagne sabrage option too… such a fun and memorable touch. I'll definitely be back very soon. 🤍

Outstanding experience! We had a bottle of VC rose with buttermilk chicken, steak and fries and the vegi crudies. Staff awesome, amazing vibe.

Overall disappointed. Vista was tops of buildings and construction and I had expected Darling Harbour:( First waiter said she couldn't pronounce the champagne I was interested in…..knew nothing about champagnes! Had to call waiters over for drinks and was met "waddya want"…. New perhaps? Fantastic food and great oysters. Perfectly chilled champagne and I loved the selection. Many drinking beer and noisy. Two guys behind bar mixing drinks were artistes and more knowledgeable. Fantastic champagne cocktails as photographed. Would I return? No…..

Food and drinks were okay, but not impressive. Greatest letdown was the harbourside redevelopment blocking the harbour view. Maybe Sofitel should consider relocating the bar!

The service was attentive and friendly. They knew the special occasion at entry and greeted us accordingly. Nice touch. We were taken to the best seats near bar and window. They also gave us complimentary cup cake (soooo small lol) with greeting.
Complimentary almonds and olives with our drinks. We ordered the chicken bites which were nice, fresh and crispy.
Beautiful ambience, perfect for date nights. Highly recommended.
