Hubby and I make a point to go out to dinner at this place because we are never disappointed with the quality and variety of the dishes. It is also quite obvious that the staff love their jobs because they are always so cheerful, friendly and welcoming despite the busyness of the place. The management has done such a great job in making the place look fabulous which is why people from far and wide have meals at Charcoal Inn.

Had a quiet dinner with the wife and kids in the dining room of the renovated Charcoal.

The burger was a standard patty with lettuce beetroot cheese and tomato with crispy hot chips.
The sliver of Salmon, drizzled with hollandaise sauce and served with a garden salad sans onion and some cubed cheese.
And finally, the cheesy garlic pizza was absolutely smashed by the children who started to graze off of our meals....
But most importantly, the beers came in cold glasses and tasted clean.

Mum and I had lunch here yesterday. The establishment was clean, staff are very friendly and kind, the food and drinks are packed with flavour. Mum said she couldn't stop eating her Salmon Linguini and had me buy more for later. she is usually very picky with her Salmon.

We will be eating here again in future. Can't wait to try the other Menu items.

Beautifully upgraded
The saying is 'build it and they will come' and boy they sure did. The busy atmosphere and meals were good and reasonably priced. Staff were delightful 🙂

Partially renovated but still very nice. There were a good variety of meals. Food service was fast. Nice outlook on the deck. We visited twice in 3 days for an evening meal.

Lunch here was very nice indeed. Very busy and very popular with the locals. Recommended to us by the information centre at Woodburn. Thank you.

Great steak, best we have had in years. Tbone and rib fillet cooked to perfection. Diane sauce amazing. Salad very impressive. Staff and service fantastic. Hope we make it back.

What a transformation this place has received. The food is good. The crumbed cutlets were good, but the crumb quite thick. The salad was top shelf with half beetroot, boiled egg and pineapple, but no dressing. The chips were plentiful and really crunchy. The mushroom gravy was delucious with actual halves and big chunks of mushroom. The steak sandwich was the BEST ever eaten. Great steak that had been trimmed of gristle and totally delicious. The grilled chicken was tasty but a little dry. The service was fast and friendly with that typical country smile. Bare minimum of beers on tap. Reasonable prices.
