One of our favourite pubs in the area. The quality of the food delivers well above expectations we have sampled many different items of their menu and always top quality. What a better place to watch the sun go over the Tweed while having a lazy drink. Either for lunch or dinner or just a drink with friends Popp with the locals.

One of our party had the barramundi special and said it was the best she'd ever had. The pork ribs were excellent. Great location on the river. Highly recommend if you're holidaying in the area.

Always good here. My local. Huge meals, you definitely won't go hungry. Also have bands, and right on the river. Nice.😀

I had dinner here last night with friends and I'm not impressed and this is coming from a 15yr + local. I paid 60 dollars for a 400g reef/beef meal of which 100g couldn't be eaten due to inferior tough gristle in cut of rump itself. In taking it back to the chef I met with a "what do you want me to do about it ?" Well boss for the price your charging people in today's financial climate I'd expect you to have better cuts of steak. If I can get top quality meat from Kingscliff Butchers then there's no excuse for an established hotel bistro in Chinderah.

Had the best Chicken Schnitzel I've ever eaten there. We were a party of six & everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Great prices & very good service. Can't wait to visit again.
Chinderah Tavern is open Sunday through Saturday from 10 AM to 11 PM.
