Sally has done a great job here. The campsite consists of a lovely flat and grassed area with a clean toilet. A great outlook over the surrounding cane fields and mountains in the background. Sally was also super enthusiastic about opening up the bar which was a great experience for us and the kids to chat to the locals and have a beer on the verandah at Cloakey's!

Cloakey's kitchen and veranda bar is OPEN NOW Friday Saturday Sundays. Sally will welcome you with a warm smile and pour you a fresh, cold beer under the veranda. A great little business that will only grow even more amazing for the community with time. Camping currently not available due to earth works. Still worth stopping by for a beer and a chat. We will definitely be returning to camp for a few nights when available to explore the beautiful region. Cash preferred

Visited Cloakey's yesterday and had a wonderful chat with the host Sally who is currently renovating the old pub and operating out of a temporary bar on the verandah. The pub is set amongst the cane fields, surrounded by stunning mountain views, and has several varieties of beers on tap to interest visitors. Camping is available for travelers to further enjoy this great spot and Sally's enthusiasm.

Sally is friendly and helpful! She wanted to open the pub especially for us for food and drinks, normally the pub is closed on Wednesdays.

Owner's of the pub are lovely and inviting :). They offer camping and have amazing service and food. And the surroundings are immaculate! A real local, homely feel to stop at on your travels.
