Very sad meals at the Colac East Hotel today. Old bloke behind the bar was as dry as a nuns nasty. Got the soup, it was cold. The chicken curry and rice ($25) was a couple of teaspoons of Keens curry powder in a bit of chicken stock with a bit of dry chicken and potatoes and rice cooked to mush. Definitely not in a hurry to go back.

My brother & I were staying in Colac for the weekend, coming up from the Mornington Peninsula and came across this hotel for a feed. The service by the elderly gentleman was lovely and they were quick and efficient in getting our meals to us. The Parmas were the perfect size and we enjoyed them a lot! :) I was going to get the smaller size but the man who served us said it was Parma night so I went for the large and was able to eat it all as it was delicious!

The east Parma was the meal I ate, I couldn't get enough, 2 size options for a smaller meal when ya not overly hungry but could eat.
Don't skip this restaurant for a meal, you'll be pleasantly surprised

Always a guaranteed 'full tum' and satisfied taste bud! Their Deviled Kiev is the best!
The old tables and chairs let the place down tho and the un-utilised'beer garden' area that needs much attention.
