Great meal. Can recommend the lamb shanks. One salt and pepper shaker shared by the entire room, a bit ordinary.

We had a great overnight stay out the back of the pub, in our caravan. They offer a large grassed area, free of charge to campers. Please show your support for this country pub by buying drinks/meals during your stay.
We popped in for drinks and then later for dinner and more drinks. The pizza was huge and also delicious!
Great service from a friendly bartender. Thanks for a great stay, Deepwater Hotel - definitely a Top Pub!! ?

Service was friendly & helpful, meals were outstanding, steak top quality, Sth Melb Dim Sims great with a beer. Free camping out back very convenient. This is not the Hilton but Deepwater has a lot more charm.

Brilliant little pub with exceptional meals at great value prices! Local beers were a standout, as was the cocktails and meals! So good to experience some country charm with only two ladies keeping everything and everyone well fed and happy! Keep up the hard work ladies ??????

This place is a little gem ??'? in deep water. I would give them 6 stars if I could. Oh wait, I can ????????????
The rooms were comfortable with clean, fresh linen and towels. The hotel owner Suzi was amazing, super friendly and accommodating. The rest of the staff are very friendly too, always happy and willing to help. (We were running late back from a day trip and ring to put threw a dinner order before the kitchen closed, and they sms'd the menu to us and called back to take the order amazing. Then the atmosphere in the little pub was great, good music everyone laughing and joking and chatting to each other like we were all friends. Now, the highlight of the stay would probably have to be the A15 Cheeseburger it's probably the best I have ever had or at least in the top 3.
If you are travelling through deep water, it's definitely worth a stop or a night.

Great little pub with a wonderful, friendly husband and wife partnership running the show. Good beer (try the Deepwater pale ale) and good country style food. I stayed out back in my van in a grassed, flat area that was perfect for a stopover.
This is a great place to stop. The food is excellent and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. Natalie is like catching up with a friend. We would recommend staying here to everyone. Thanks for your excellent hospitality.
What a great pub stay this one is. Plenty of room just out the back for vans, motorhomes and big rigs. Tents and swags are allowed too. The owners Susi and Stu are very friendly and genuine people. Access to a toilet was provided overnight.

Worth stopping just for the meals! Good size serves and reasonable prices. We will definitely stop here whenever we are in this part of NSW.

Very dog friendly and has motel accommodation available too.

Beautiful... beautiful...People with exceptional friendly service... beautiful big dog, great hearty meal with an actual decent side salad. Room is clean, good amount of blankets for the chilly weather. Will become my local when I visit. Must stop even if for a meal, the description of this place is spot on, feels like a home away from home!

Susi and Stu are excellent hosts. We stayed for 3 nights over Easter and nothing was ever too much trouble. Lovely people and amazing food and coffee. A very special pub.

This is a great pub!! Service is A1 and the food was super good. Fresh fish and a 750 gm Tbone cooked perfectly. Need it closer to where we live.

Friendly and welcoming, even for non drinkers, with a couple of comfy lounge areas as well as typical pub seating. Meals available although we didn't it in. The coffee is fantastic and the meat pies ( which we took with us) were as good as promised. Bathrooms modern and immaculate. Ticks all the boxes.

We called by the Deepwater Hotel Top Pub when travelling along the New England Highway on a recent road trip. Their hole-in-the-wall coffee shop (The Pear Tree) was open and we were able to order coffees. Friendly staff and locals, with great service and great coffee, and with seating out the front, this was a welcome break on our travels.

We recently stayed overnight at the Top Pub and had a great experience. The restaurant was delicious, with a wide range of local craft beers to sample, and the food was really tasty. The motel was clean and comfortable; it felt like a home away from home, with plenty of space for our family of four. The beds were very cozy and the bathrooms were spotless. It was also nice and quiet for our kids to sleep, which we appreciated.

We started the next day off right with a cup of Allpress coffee from the Pear Tree hole in the wall cafe. They use high quality beans and make a great cup of joe! We also loved that there was a fenced off outdoor area for our kids to kick a ball around in - large grass areas where they could run around and have fun.

We were so impressed by the hospitality at Top Pub that we're looking forward to coming back soon to see what other developments they have in store! Highly recommended if you're looking for a cozy place to stay with great amenities and delicious food & beverages onsite.

I had a weekend away with a friend recently. Blackwater was the halfway point so we booked in a the Deepwater Hotel. From the first phone call to the last goodbye Stuart & Suzie were extremely accommodating & went out of their way to make our stay welcoming. By the end of the weekend they felt like old friends. Thanks guys we will be back. Cheers, Scott

A bucket list sunset ? in the beer garden knowing that your dog ? (big dogs included) are not only welcome but catered for. We do a lot of travelling both domestically and internationally and I have to say that this quiet little gem in the New England tablelands is a must visit! Warm fires inside and a beautiful beer garden outside! We didn't stay in the units, but they definitely tick all of the boxes when travelling.... Clean, bright, warm and your dog is more than welcome (we did a tour in heart of a cold snap)!
New owners have really thought about everything when it comes to making your stopover memorable (and knowing that a crazy boxer puppy is welcome makes it the BEST!)
Thank you for your hospitality.... We will definitely be back and looking forward to your new vision!
