Very strange and mediocre experience - orders came out incorrect and took forever. I was told the chips were cooked in a shared fryer but would be GF otherwise, and they came out with a batter on them. My burger with no bun was a chewy overcooked hockey puck. My coworkers had regular burgers and said they were ok. The bartender was delightful.

Food was amazing and quick, considering we ordered 16 pizzas! Thanks again, our crew finished everything off and it was delicious!

Great place with a standard pub menu. Sadly we arrived just after the field day and not all items on the menu were available.

I don't normally post such reviews but this was disappointing. We both ordered the steak and chips and after being told garlic or mushroom sauce wasn't available, we settled on the available gravy. It took 45 mins to arrive, which is fine, what isn't fine is the fact it was near on cold, not remotely warm and without gravy. If you can't get a basic steak right, then I suggest you close the kitchen.

Paddy is the most welcoming, charismatic publican I've come across in any WA country town yet. Great, old fashioned service.

Great country pub, the food and service was fantastic.

We had an overnight at the hotel and it was a great country hotel experience. Great fire in the bar area where you can just sit and relax. Good range of meal sizes to choose.

Great atmosphere good service and even better steak dinner .went above and beyond with service by posting me clothes I had left hanging in the room and refused reimbursement for the postage costs

Basic room, great staff, average showers but renovations were happening

Was there for Dowerin Street Party. Enjoy a couple of reds and a pizza. Value for money.

Friendly staff and patrons at this basic but comfortable and clean pub. Lots of historic details and features still evident, including the Jarrah timber staircase. Love these old buildings.
