Great country hotel with a beautiful garden, a big shed and friendly atmosphere

Really nice pub but the pizza lady out the back was so rude I don't know what her deal was

Nice staff and tasty food at good prices in a beautiful historic setting. Loved it. The perfect sunday in the Central Highlands.

There is a great atmosphere at this recently reopened hotel. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. There was so much to look at that we took ages to actually sit down and order. I loved all the sculptures in the garden. The food was really a secondary concern but it was delicious. Two of my friends had the open steak sandwich- they could easily have had one between them - they were HUGE!! I had the chicken schnitzel with a really nice salad and fantastically tasty chips. Do yourself a favour and head here asap. It's open Wednesday to Sunday

Went to Kingston Hotel for lunch, meals were amazing and staff were very friendly. This was my second visit to Kingston Hotel and have already organised two more visits in the future

Went to the commercial hotel for lunch there was 40 of us on a bus trip meals were pre ordered and came on time when we arrived. everyone enjoyed their meal and dessert.
We had a talk on the local area which was very good and informative.

Great food compliments to the chef the pub had such a great feel to it friendly and relaxed yet the service staff were on point very efficient and friendly

Good country pub in an out-of-the way location.

A wonderful little place in the gorgeous surrounds of the Avenue of Honour in Kingston. The pub itself is gorgeous, the staff were so wonderfully helpful, polite and sweet and the food was amazing (and so reasonably priced!). Thank you for looking after my family on ANZAC Day 2021, we'll see you again soon!

The food was very nice, and great value too. The dining room is friendly and interesting. Sue was a great hostess and cook. the whole atmosphere is like an old countrypub should be. nice fire, interesting bit and pieces, friendly people and no pretentious bull.... would recommend it as a nice venue for a quiet meal, or a special function. could do with more prominemt signage on the way there,but once there you dont care. thanks Sue for a great day.
