Very nice atmosphere, staff and the food is the best food to be honest I've ever had at a bistro!! Not too oily and a great choice of menu items. The atmosphere in here is very family friendly and gives off a happy vibe. Not to mention the outside looks very appealing as it is a classic almost historic site.

Enjoyable delicious meal, friendly atmosphere prompt cheerful service. We intend coming back. Reasonably priced meal. Adequate quantity for seniors meal

Booked for 12 for lunch on 16/8/24. Friday lunchtime.
Only 2 people working. Had to wait to order drinks. Line of at least 8 when ordering food. One person taking orders and also getting drinks.
Food when it eventually came was mostly cold. Left sitting on counter for ages before being brought to tables. . Steak ordered was returned for reheating. Our whole table had cold chips and veges. Lots left as inedible.
The fault is not that of server but of management who need to have more staff.. .we acknowledged to server that it was not her fault. She did pretty well under circumstances. Working under impossible conditions.
Something needs to be improved. Just not enough staff to get food to tables.
My second bad experience in last month. There wont be a third.

We have enjoyed a lovely Saturday lunch. We had the steak sandwich and the chef's special chicken curry. Good food, pleasant atmosphere, wonderful service (thanks Giorgia.

Great meals at a low price. Lunchtime is very busy and it was very cool inside in June. We asked if they could turn on the heating. Which they did quickly. Lovely staff and wonderful desserts.

Visited the Commerical hotel today service was outstanding Donna at the sports Bar is a breathe of fresh air lovely lady. Then we go into the bistro welcomed by the girl at the counter who gave us a table without a booking on a busy night with a smile on her face. Thank you so much 😊
