Coogee Bay Hotel

First visited this bar 31 years ago. Fantastic location...Great choice of indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were very helpful.

We went to a private birthday party here. Lovely private room with huge balcony overlooking the ocean. Food and service were amazing. Highly recommended.

This is an extremely popular hotel located directly across the street from Coogee Beach ???-️. It can get very crowded and noisy. Especially with the younger crowd. You can also stay here at the Hotel. You have a choice between the Boutique Rooms which are located behind the main hotel and the Bay Rooms which are above the Main Bar. I didn't stay in the hotel but my friend did and she was happy with the decor and cleanliness. There's a great selection to choose from when you are having something to eat at Coogee Bay Hotel. You can choose from the The Garden, Marra Bar & Grill (which offers a breakfast menu for people staying) and also the Sports Bar has a few items that you can choose from. Because it gets so crowded, parking 🅿️ can be very limited. There is live music every Friday to Sunday in the Garden and Marra Bar & Grill and every Wednesday and Thursday in the Garden during January and February. There's also Trivia nights on Tuesdays, Pool Competition Nights on Wednesdays and Happy Hour from Monday to Friday from 3.00pm to 6.00pm. There's also good deals on meals in mainly the Sports Bar on particular days of the week. I like to come here for a nice lunch when coming to Coogee. I have been several times, both when it's busy and when it's quiet and definitely it's more enjoyable when it's quiet. Saying this, I have never had a bad experience here and the food has always been delicious 😋. I especially love the pizzas 🍕. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thumbs Up!! 😀😀😀😀

We completed Bondi to Coogee walk and stopped here for a drink and lunch. Fantastic place for a drink, a really good vibe and beautiful decor. However, was a little let down by my order of Fish & Chips. Given that the menu is quite small in choice of food options, I was hoping a little more concentration on the cooking of the food. My fish was extremely dry, and the batter was just too oily. I was disappointed in my choice of meal in the end. My daughter had the Chicken Schnitzel, which was better than my meal.

The location is perfect and the staff we interacted with were all friendly and helpful.

All in all, definitely a great place for a drink and meal, just a high recommendation to not order the Fish & Chips
