Went in with two objectives, one was to have a meal the other to find out if they had a takeaway lunch menu....which they do.

On Wednesday nights they have a $15 menu which would be great value if you're on a budget. But I decided to go for the Crispy Chicken Burger ($18) and washed it down with a pint of lager. The burger came with chips that were cooked perfectly and the burger was delicious.

The staff member that served me was super friendly. The place itself was quite nice with a relaxed atmosphere and on this night it wasn't overly busy so my food arrived rather quickly.

On a side note, at work we organised for our lunches which was an easy process. Turned up, gave them our orders and came back an hour later with 10 meals ready to go and cutlery provided. All the boys were happy with their meals so it looks like we'll be back again.

Plenty of parking both on site and on-street so no problem there.

Recently had a large function. With a large amount of meal orders. The food was great a well priced. The staff was amazing and will be going back ?

Was poured a beer at the bar. Which was completely flat in all 3 glasses. I was told it was the glass ... however I've worked in bars for years and this had no head whatsoever. I was not offered another one.. the service was below average and borderline rude.

My nan said their senior discounts aren't really that of value. Still 20$ a meal with limited options.

Wouldn't come again. Plenty of other places worth your money ??'?

Never had a bad meal here in over 5 years of coming here.
Have seen staff turn around in that time but never any issues.
Last night they were swamped with a large disability group booking which made the place loud and crammed and staff ran off their feet with meals going to wrong tables and a delay in meals coming out all together however they owned it, apologised, refunded off their own backs and still were friendly and courteous.

Good decor, fantastic and friendly staff. Good tasting food and great specials. Reasonably priced, no outrageous prices like other pubs. Had the roast special, delicious, personally would have liked a bigger yorkshire pudding and a bit more gravy, but that is just me being greedy.

Very disappointed, both my partner and I got steaks (medium rare) and it came out raw. We then sent both back, I got a new steak but it was cooked the exact same as the first one. My partners steak just thrown back on and still somehow came out raw again. Won't be going back, chef needs to learn how to cook a steak properly.

Sad to say, absolute disaster of a place. If a chef can't cook chips, you know it's a monkey back there. Steak was still alive, chips were white. Never again. Got my money back

Me and my mate had our lunch here and couple of beers while watching the boxing. Huge beef and chicken parmigiana's at a small price. Beer was also great.

We came here for a birthday dinner and I ordered a kids meal (for context, I've had weight loss surgery so I can only eat half of a kids meal), the waiter asked me if it was for me or a child and I explained the situation and I was refused. Fair enough, first place this has ever happened to me at though, most restaurants are understanding.

My partner received the wrong meal and was spoken to rudely when asked to correct it.

And they also try to charge you a fee to have cake there? It's an extra $10 to be allowed to eat your OWN CAKE at their tables?

Probably won't return. Just over an hour wait for pretty basic pub meals. Plenty of tables that arrived after us received their meals & were leaving before we got our meals. Niece's pasta Bolognese had congealed, was a pretty solid mass. My brisket in bread was fairly dry roast beef with bread so hot it felt like it came out of a microwave. Partners fish and chips was good.

Food was good as a counter dinner, location and venue was pleasant and decor good. Staff were uncertain about their roles and mixed up meals for tables. Dessert had to be requested after waiting a long time. But overall a nice evening

We had a chicken dish with fresh vegetables and baked potatoes. With a lovely peppered sauce. we Couldn't fault the food,it was delicious. The staff are very friendly and very professional. I will certainly recommend your establishment to anyone. I will certainly be back again. Thank you girls.

Service was really good. Lovely staff! Food, not so much. Portion size too small for price. Everything that was cooked in the fryer tasted like fish. The garlic bread loaf was excellent though!

Lovely Food, great service friendly staff. A nice place to have a meal or a drink.. or a game of pool with friends or family.

Had the special which was a beef stew. Tasty but artificially thickened sauce and a little on the small side.
Quite pleasant environment but got a bit noisy.

Unfortunately the worst meal I have had in a hotel in years.. beef casserole with literally 3 small chunks of meat and the gravy .... Thickened with cornflour it was that gluggy.... Uneatable to say the least... I went home and had toast it was that bad.. very disappointing ???'??'???'???'?

This venue seems to have lost it's direction, it lacks atmosphere and the food was plentiful but not particularly enjoyable. We had lunch I can't speak about dinner. Scallops were tiny and way overcooked. At 32 dollars on the main menu the dish was shameful. Very few patrons, tells the story. Never to visit again.

Great staff. My fav go to place for a nice dinner but they are very flexible with kids. They shouldn't be that flexible or else someday kids might get hurt just personal opinion.

Fish and chips are really good and i like the slide salad.
The chips are really specatural.

Service was ok, but not very knowledgeable about the menu...meals where very sub- standard for a classy venue. It seems maybe they should cook some of their own cuisine and get an real cook for the normal meals. I won't be heading back there for a long while

Family friendly, wow! What service. This pub is great for kids. Old skool service. A credit to Moonah. Thankyou for making our kids so welcome.

Haven't really been here more than a couple of times, but I met the lady that eventually married here. Therefore 5 stars.

The staff went out if their way to help us enjoy our evening. From a custom made cocktail for mum, a special menu for the vego, and a doggy bag for the left overs... Hang on, there were no leftovers, the food was sooo good. Definitely making this our "Go to" place!

Very different food options - beautiful presentation and taste! Great choice of menu options and drinks too. Ordered our meals and waited only 10 minutes before being served. Great presentation, excellent taste and ample portions.
