Great hospitality! We were travelling from Sydney and were coming in late and they kept the kitchen and bar open for us. Free camping was amazing.

Such a great pub and place to visit! Utilised the ample camping space right next door and were made to feel so welcome. The staff were so friendly and helpful and couldn't have been more accommodating. The food and atmosphere was of such high quality, an amazing country pub. Can highly recommend checking out this hidden gem ?

Have dinner here occasionally when working in Mudgee as I stay at my friends place at Kains Flat. Great food,atmosphere and a unique positioning for a pub. It's like an oasis in the desert. Highly recommend

Over an hour and a half for food to arrive to our table. Credit where it's due, the food was average enough that it didn't make the experience even worse.

What an absolute gem of a find! This Hotel has everything from a huge fire pit to a markee (available to book).
We relaxed on the back deck, drank some awesome wines and feasted like king's.
Dave the owner and chef Adair have put together the perfect country pub menu.
I honestly can't wait to return!

Our group had lunch at the hotel. Great service and hospitality....the chef stayed on as we were a little late. Food was great as well as the outdoor eating area. Highly recommend.

Great steak $40 buck meal more than I would usually spend but ok for once in a blue moon pub getting upgraded I'll be back to check out in the future

Great Food & Atmosphere!
Spent a lazy Sunday afternoon listening to some tunes. Friendly place, good food and plenty of room outside to sit and enjoy the sunshine. A true country pub, well worth the trip out.

Nice pub, better atmosphere could be created with live music. Menu great for meateaters. Staff respectful, polite, efficient. All in all nice lunch.......

Wonderful hotel to enjoy a couple beers and an unreal schnitzel. Owner was incredibly hospitable and offers free camping behind the hotel. Will return!

Lovely stop over at Cooyal Hotel for a beer. The wood fire was roaring, the owner and bartender were very welcoming and lovely, sat down to have a chat with us. Their cat and 3 legged dog came over to give us a warm cuddle. We had a wonderful time.

Loved this place, proper country pub with hearty meals and a great atmosphere. We were also able to camp in the garden which made for a much more enjoyable experience.

Friendly local pub with yummy traditional counter lunch and dinner.
Must try chicken schnitzel! It is juicy and big!!!
