We were recommended to come to this pub.
I bought my elderly parents (75) to experience "a beautiful country pub". We came on a Friday night for pizza and Cooyar fried chicken night a couple of weeks ago. This experience was soured by a very rude tall waitress/bartender who had a crack at my 75 year old mum for taking a cushion from a nearby couch to sit on. She has arthritic hips. Instead of politely asking her to put the cushion back, she very rudely demanded at back "stating they were "$100 cushions and not be sat on". Keeping in mind these cushions were from a couch... generally to be sat on...?
This lady seemed to have no time for new patrons "non regulars" and was also pretty rude and dismissive to the rest of our group when just ordering regularly over the bar prior to the above incident.
The vibe of the pub is great and the rest of the staff very lovely. All unfortunately soured by the one lady. Fingers crossed she isn't the owner cause judging from her demeanour and lack of care, she appears to need a change of career.
