I booked in advance, online and by phone. I requested a standard table to accommodate my elderly father. We arrived and were seated in the bar area in high seats. I approached staff and they were attentive to my request to be moved. It went downhill from there after engaging with management. We were then seated at a broken table, near the door (that was open) and it was freezing. Again, I approached the young male in management at the hotel and expressed my dissatisfaction relating to the seating that we were given. My feedback was met with arrogance and complete disregard. The young manager in question clearly has issues with women, in particular, forthright women. He was beyond rude. Hence, after an underwhelming interaction, we vacated the premises. We moved on to The Tamworth Hotel and they were able to accommodate us. At The Tamworth Hotel, we were given a suitable table and they delivered exceptional meals and service. To the management at The Courthouse Hotel. Understand this. Women are fed up with being disrespected and disregarded. It is our right to have a voice and express if we are dissatisfied with service, situations and otherwise. I left my contact details. I look forward to someone contacting me to discuss the circumstances mentioned.
