Cradle Forest Cottages - Pub in Moina Tasmania

Amazing place to stay, beautiful cabins. On-site caretaker was very friendly and helpful, good to know about the area etc. Clean and beautiful, will definitely be staying there again, highly recommend.

It's a cheap place to stay. It is worth noting that there's no WiFi. Which isn't a big deal. But the cottages are in a network deadzone it seems. So we couldn't even use our own network to look up dinner recommendations etc. Had to walk up to main road and across the street just to get a couple of bars service. So be prepared for that.

Quaint cottages surrounded by forest and wildlife. Check in / out was an easy process (self directed with easy to follow instructions). We got a little confused on the main road as the name on the signage is slightly different to that which we were looking for. This is a reasonable drive from food so bring heat up meals / breakfasts or be prepared to drive 20mins to get food. Lack of wifi but also lack of service - made it difficult to look up places we were wanting to go to during our stay. The bed was very firm. We were unlucky to cop a blackout which led to lights (I presume emergency lighting??) turning on at 2:30 and then again at 4:30 when the power returned.

Great location to stay if you're heading towards cradle mountain. About 30mins drive from here onwards

Lovely wooden cottages 30 minute drive to Cradle Mountain. Comfortable queen size bed with clean bathroom and living area. No reception staff or wifi, and no kitchen. Microwave and kettle provided. Would definitely benefit from having a stovetop or BBQ facility given the location and how much you're paying. It's leafy and had great privacy! It was a pleasant stay, thank you!
