Medium-rare steak with a 'Dianne' sauce was actually a well-cooked fatty rump which hadn't seen mustard, Worcestershire sauce, or cream; just a brown mess of the meat's juices. Plus some cold chips & a mound of salad without dressing. Also one barman for twenty punters at lunch doesn't seem like enough resource for serving drinks.

If you're looking for true country hospitality, The Cradock Hotel is the place to be! The service was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The meals were absolutely massive - you'll definitely leave satisfied! One of the highlights was sitting down to enjoy dinner while watching the stunning outback sunset. And the pepper sauce? Hands down the best in the state! Highly recommend stopping by if you're passing through - you won't regret it.

Top spot to start our motorbike trip in the Flinders. Super friendly staff and people. Great beer and food. Rooms were comfy, clean, quiet and warm. Separate showers for guests staying in the hotel from the those provided for camping outside. Plenty of camping space out the back if that's what you are looking for.

got a room with a french door opening to camp ground and parking at the rear, with a small table and chairs on the porch great for a morning coffee. lovely rustic and warm, with shared bathroom in the courtyard which served the purpose. not spotless but reasonable. plenty of hot water. one of the shower heads the angle was a bit awkward and couldn't be adjusted maybe that can be fixed. one toilet and two shower cubicles in men's side. could be busy if all 6 rooms were filled I imagine. good pub grubs as well with very reasonable price. wondering if owners are doing charity! it's a good alternative for accessing flinders ranges drives and walks when only luxury options are left and one needs a comfy place for sleep and eat.

Huge area out the back for caravans, motorhomes, buses etc. Friendly staff, good prices for beers and meals. Would definitely stay here again. Modern toilets and showers for campers. Great views. The camping area would be slippery when wet.

Great little stop over for a night between flinders and broken hill. The price of a beer is the camp fee showers for 2 dollars and toilets heaps of room. Great little playground for the kids. Food is great as well.

We stayed at the back of the pub for a stop over. Good thing it was Sunday & they closed at 3pm (only had time for a quick 2 beers). The barman was very friendly & full of information. They had hot showers ($1 usage) & toilets, spotlessly clean.

Had a great feed at the updated Cradock Hotel, it had been a few years since we had stopped in for a cold beer and a quality feed, but the stop and feed was well worth it if you are ever travelling to the Flinders Ranges along the RM Williams highway stop in and support this quality country pub??'??.

Plenty of camping space with good toilet & shower facilities however a mirror would be a good addition. Basic pub meals and comfy indoor fire. The fireplace at the front of the pub needs a designated cigarette butt area, looking a bit untidy, otherwise a good spot to stopover

We have used the camping facilities at the rear of the pub on 3 occasions since the current owners took over almost 2 years ago. It is a great place to spend a night or 2 either on your way or way home from the Flinders Ranges. There are toilet and shower facilities available which are always kept clean . A very modest charge applies for use of the showers. David & Amy are very friendly hosts and the meals provided are excellent and good value. The pub is a credit to both of them and I recommend that anyone passing that way call and experience the friendly hospitality that they provide.

Such a great Country pub with really friendly owners. Limited accommodation in the hotel at the moment but that will change in the future. There is plenty of space at the back of the pub for caravans of any size with excellent amenities. Hotel also has an excellent fenced playground for the kids

Great owners and staff - friendly even to visitors, not just locals. Amazing meals - house made dianne, mushroom and tartare sauces. Generous sized meals, and they even shouted us a free dessert. Attractive interior and great amenities. Highly recommend. Karen & Ian

10/10 Pub. Excellent food & service, friendly banter and free camping behind the pub with the purchase of a beer at the bar. $2 showers too if that strikes your fancy. Would give 6/5 stars if I could ?, superb pub considering the location

On the edge of the Outback and Flinders Ranges. We're cycling the Mawson Trail from Adelaide to Blinman. Cradock Hotel is a beautiful sandstone pub. Population of 14. The pub is the focus. Cold Coopers beer on tap, fabulous rooms with a share toilet/bathroom. The dinner was delicious - usual pub menu. I can recommend their home made beef pie. Sunset and the stars are magnificent.

Camped behind pub on way to and again from Flinders Ranges. Cost is you are required to buy a beer in the pub. They have clean toilets and showers for campers. Does not have powered sites. Ate both times at the hotel and meals are fantastic and reasonably priced. Ring ahead if you want to stay as pub is not opened everyday. Will visit again.

Best pub feed I've had in a long time. Steak was cooked perfectly and the Dianne sauce was super tasty. Wedges were crispy and plenty of them! Young fella in the kitchen does a great job ??'??

We stayed overnight, people were friendly, food was very good, toilet & shower block very nice, clean. We were disappointed there was no access to power & water as was described in the Camps Australia Wide 11th edition book. Just a note for future travellers, it gave the impression you could get power & water in exchange for patronage at the pub.

One of the best country pubs I've ever been to!! The food is to die for, the service is like no other and the publican takes the outback pub experience to a whole different level. Put this on your bucket list ?

It may be a little out of your way but well worth making the effort. This pub is a great example of a family run business with great customer service, great food prepared by a top notch chief and great beer and wine to complement.

Do yourself a favor and get yourself to the Cradock Hotel, you will not be disappointed
