Crossroads Hotel, Narrabri NSW

Stay elsewhere is you want a good nights sleep. Stairs to the standard rooms are at the pool tables so noise is loud and constant. Bed was hard and bathroom you can hardly move in. Room was massive though and space could be utilised better (ie expand bathroom so you can move).

The Indian food is up there with the best Indian food have have had in Australia. Really authentic flavours and plenty to fill you up. The staff are extremely friendly and even opened up the laundry room for me when I had to do some washing. The rooms have been modernised but still have the old hotel feel. If you are in narrabri come check out the place you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend.

Possibly the worst motel/hotel we have ever stayed in. Our room was number 10 - access via small stairs. The room was grubby and un-kept and smelt. Aircon did not work. Shower recess was revolting so did not use it . Toilet seat falling off.
All hard surfaces looked like they had been wiped down with a greasy rag.
Only booked in for one night (thank God) but couldn't sleep due to the smell so up at 5.00am and on our way.
All in all a horrible experience. Would not recommend. Avoid at all costs.

Food at the hotel was delicious and the staff were all very friendly.

I stayed at some of their offsite apartments, which were a little disappointing. I noticed one of the windows in the living room of my ground floor apartment didn't have a lock and could be opened from the outside if someone took the flyscreen off, which felt a little unsafe. I managed to wedge a pole in the window to lock it overnight for myself, but it would be nice if Crossroads could fix the window themselves, or provide something to secure the window better.

We are absolutely over the moon with this venue and how well organised it for our engagement party.
The venue itself is absolutely perfect already, so to have our experienced enhanced even more the amazing staff and food has left us extremely grateful.
They went above and beyond with our requests. Even offering things without us asking.
Our guest's were happy with their food and the efficiency of how the food was served made the night run very smoothly.
We have both moved here from living in the busy city, so finding such hospitality in our small town is extremely reassuring.
