The newly renovated Cru bar is really beautiful!

The food is the same that we all know and love.

We ordered fried potatoes, lamb skewers, grilled octopus, king prawns, steak frites and strawberry shortbread.

All the entree and share plates are amazing and worth eating over and over especially the fried potatoes! Seasoned to perfection.

Unfortunately, the steak frites didn't quite hit the mark for me. The steak wasn't cooked evenly and tasted like it wasn't seasoned.

Dessert was delicious and an easy flavour for everyone to enjoy.

This place looks amazing after the last renovation. Great spot for a few casual wines, they have an extensive wine list and even bigger wine cellar attached. Well worth a trip

A James St staple for a reason. Their latest renovation makes for a fantastic atmosphere for drinks and/or nibbles, or a larger meal. Over 2,000 wines on the menu with a good selection of imported wines from various regions. Yummy cheeses to pair as well. Great service, great wines and friendly service. Always a vibe!

Great food and service! It would have been 5 stars but the seating is mostly near the open windows. Great on a warm day but unpleasant when it's 16-18 degrees . I had to keep my jacket on the whole time.

This venue has remained a go to place in the Valley. The atmosphere was electric when we came. They have big bay windows which let in a cool breeze. Seating is tightly fit in so if you're looking for a private conversation you won't achieve it here. But the ambience makes up for the lack of space. The food was delicious - except for the crème brûlée which unfortunately tasted like someone had accidentally used a garlic spoon or something in making it - it was only faint garlicky and based on how well the other dishes tasted you can forgive them for this error.

They make great cocktails and were accomodating to make others which weren't on their extensive drinks menu.

The waiter gave recommendations for other venues to visit that night in the area.
