Pub was extremely accommodating to a group of bikers at last minute notice. We're generous enough to donate a bottle of Alcohol to raffle off for a great cause. Thank you so much for having us. Meals were great, and staff are super friendly.
We had a rib eye steak that was brilliant. We were a party of six and our host was left waiting for his meal of fish and chips with the wrong sauce. This was because they had missed that order when preparing the meals. Took the payment though.???'

Traditional Aussie country pub with some good innovations. Appreciated the Seniors menu and self service water. Quiet enough to chat in normal voice. Happily return. All ages welcome. If I could give 3.5 stars for food, I would. The lamb shank looked terrific. My grilled fish just a bit dry. I wish my Rotary club could meet here as does the local club.

the parma was amazing with chips, veg, gravy, all spot on..
Atmosphere was like walking into a retirement village, no music, not much a vibe happening, if that could get some attention, would be 5 stars all round

Good quality food and service and helping size. Even the seniors helping was a good size.
Also, when we requested amendment to a particular item on the menu they were very accommodating. This was particularly helpful for gluten free options.
Thankyou for adding to our enjoyable couple of days in Castlemaine.

Nice hotel, very clean and spacious bistro area, a little dated but you can get a decent meal and staff are very friendly. Food was delicious and good size serving, overall good experience
