Great place to shelter from abysmal weather during early August 22. Great atmosphere and great meals. I stayed for several days while camping in the car park.

We drove to Darke peak hotel from Cleve to see the old pub ,it looks like a beautiful old pub too from the outside. Also notice it's got $15 caravan spot behind pub . Hopefully next time we pass through we can park up the van for a few cold ones . Also love the Hellbent Hotel too ,lot of history there ??'???'?

Friendly and welcoming owners. Yummy food. Best loaded fries ever. Scotch fillet cooked perfectly. Steak sandwich- delicious. Great story about the clock. Check out the history display opposite the pub. Great little spot to stop and explore.

This place was a great little pub to stop of after a day of hiking. The lunch was great and the beers were cold. Nice friendly service and the kids made a few friends. Highly recommend if in the area. We will be back again.

Friendly and welcoming little pub, the Beef Schnitzel was well cooked and a decent size. It has a great old school vibe and it is worth stopping in for a visit if you're on the Eyre Peninsula.

Great owners. Great food. I had the Yiros for lunch & very nice, better than the ones you get in Adelaide. Excellent selection of drinks, especially the premixed Vodka (Billsons). Great pub ??'?

Had a wonderful night at the pub. Camped out the back with power and water. They were very busy with meals but we were told to order early and the meal was amazing. Will be back one day on our way to WA. Thank you for a great stay

Great to see such an iconic pub doing so well. Stopped in for a feed, the owners and locals alike were incredibly helpful in directing me towards the local sights. The food was scrumptious. Totally recommend the Chicken Darke Peake, one of the house specialties. Without a doubt worth a stop whichever direction you're traveling in.

Dropped in for lunch and had a very nice steak sandwich. Fresh ingredients and freshly made. Others had a burger (chicken or beef) and they said they were good as well. Comfortable country pub.
