Electronic ordering from the table made it even better not having to queue up and pressured on what to order. There's several areas you can dine with amusement for teenagers. Ample parking and is off Ballarat Rd with easy access. Food is great and didn't have to wait for so long even with the stakes. Friendly staff and clean. Thanks to Simone & Jess! Bathrooms a bit old but immaculate. Well recommended place.

I'm so impressed with Simone. She is super professional al and remembers me and my son always, has a chat and is prompt with all our experience.
Have been coming here for 12 years and with all its changes and I can say right now the experience is great.
The rump steak is cooked beautifully and the chicken Parma is huge.
One thing I wish they had better options on the wine by the glass but I can live with the same Chardonnay since I only come every few weeks.

Nice and quiet place to sit and enjoy a countermeal and where else can you get a nice pint of lager with a succulent chicken parma with sides of chips and salad for $17. Very much satisfied first time I've been here.

Just wanted to add some comments here. The food was so nice. Fish cooked beautifully and the dressing on the salad was the tastiest I've ever had. Outdoor seating area was perfect. Lots of space and shade on a warm day. The waitress was really friendly and helpful and we were able to order online from the table which is always a bonus. Highly recommend this place.

Held a lunchtime function here and everything was exceptional to celebrate the baptism of my little girl.

Firstly, the customer service was outstanding. I booked the venue 3 months in advance and leading up to this, Hayley had been very attentive answering all of my emails and questions to ensure everything would go smoothly. She encouraged us to come view the space and to set up/decorate the night before. On the day of my function she was very helpful encouraging us to take home the left overs and cut and served our cake for us. Our bar staff was also friendly and attentive.

Next the food. I had never actually been here before but their function package was the most affordable in the area so we went with it. My family had concerns that some food would be bulk sourced frozen, but this at least did not taste like the case. The food all tasted fresh and made in house. We especially liked the mini burgers, prawn twisters and lamb skewers.

Would definitely look at having more functions here in the future and will probably stop by for lunch at their bistro now too.

Fantastic venue, extremely friendly staff, great for parties. If you are bumping in for party setup it's easy access and lots of space.

We had to wait 45 mins for our meal, 1/3 of the tables was filled.
However when we got our food we were very happy with it.
Ordered the ribeye steak special and Parma.
Ribeye 8/10 the veggie were cut really big.
Parma 7.5/10 ideal amount of source could do with more cheese and the salad dressing is way too sweet.
Will come back.

It's been many years since I last ate at Deer Park Hotel as the menu went downhill due to a new chef.
Decided to try it again with a group of girl friends for lunch today, and will definitely be going back. The menu was great and the meals were excellent. Jessie our waitress was helpful and friendly.
I would definitely recommend the bistro to all my friends.

Thankyou Ameer, Simone and Dale. Food was delicious and generous size portions. The service was exceptional and staff friendly. I loved my 'Cheeky 50' cocktail made for my birthday. You guys rock.

Celebrated my dad's 80th Birthday last Sunday. We called the Hotel a month ago to make the booking and the staff and Manager's Sarah and Hayley were soo nice and helpful. They showed me the room and did everything they could to make the day perfect. They said I could come the night before to set up the room to make things easier. On the Day Hayley was there to make sure everything was perfect and everyone was having a good time. The Staff and the food was wonderful and all 30 people attended had a fantastic time. My dad was so happy with how it went and came by the next day to thank the staff for making the day a wonderful one. Thank you Hayley and Sarah and everyone involved.

Went for a meal with friends tonight. 4 adults and two kids.
Great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. I would definitely recommend the food and the place.
Staff are incredibly efficient and friendly. And a heads up, get the mars bar cake, it's to die for.

We haven't been here for a while. They had a great deal Parma & Pint for under 20 bucks. I was served by Sarah at the Sports Bar and her service was professional and friendly. Will definitely be back again. Highly Recommended!

Food was good and one of the cheapest meals we have had as a family in a while due to a discount. All 6 of us enjoyed what we got. Very cosy atmosphere and think the beer garden would be great in summer.

Had my wife's 40th birthday party in a function room at the Deer Park Hotel last night. Could not fault the customer service from the first meeting with function manager Belinda, until finish. She was so very helpful all the way through the lead up to the party and constantly checking in on the night ensuring our party went smoothly and a great night had by all. Thank you so very much Belinda. A big thank you to venue manager Aaron who also went out of his way to ensure our night was a success. For food, we went a selection of numerous platters, which all came out in a timely manner. The platters were a great size and tasty as well. I would highly recommend the use of their function room for events. We will certainly use it and the Deer Park Hotel in the future. Thank you again Belinda and Aaron, and the Deer Park Hotel. Staff are always welcoming with a smile. Sportsbar staff are exceptional. Cold beers, meeting up with friends, very friendly atmosphere . Bar meals are great while having a bet or watching sports.

Family friendly, great hotel in the West.***Update*** Meals have definitely changed during Covid but still very nice. Bistro staff couldn't be more friendly but the pokies staff definitely let the venue down. The woman that was there at lunchtime today could not have been less friendly or helpful. Almost spoiler a nice day.
