QIRKZ In The Hunter

The coolest venue about. Fun environment with much art and other gorgeous decor. Staff were always helpful. Food was delicious (we had pizza and Tandoori). Top shelf entertainment with the British Rock Show. 100% will go back.

Crazy good value and music. Definitely worth traveling for the intimate atmosphere, generous tasty food portions and great line up. Bar person was on it, missed a trick not having the lovely owner doing meet greet directions to patrons instead of helping behind the bar. Great people though and this place should thrive.

Edit- making it my brunch/lunch stop now I know the cafe exists.

Saturday 4 May, we held a private party for my 75th birthday at QIRKZ in the Hunter.

It was absolutely perfect, from the initial planning discussions with Yaron and Edith 3 months ago, to the turning out of lights after everyone had left, towards midnight.

We invited 55 friends and family, including 6 Tweenagers who entertained us all with their miming to music and hysterical dancing.

Everyone loved the venue, the food was superbly presented in a grazing table and served by the delightful staff. The bar was open for all wine, beer and soft drinks with spirits and cocktails at our guests own cost. We booked a professional DJ and photographer to capture our happy memories.

We were also delighted to have Yaron on stage singing a few special songs after the speeches.

We highly recommend QIRKZ if you are thinking of a special occasion venue.

We were a group of three trying out Qirks for the first time on a Sunday for brunch. There was easy street parking out front and there were plenty of tables available. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Our drinks were perfect (the Mars Bar gelato milkshake was a winner!) The food came out in a timely manner and was very well presented as you can see in the photos, the chef obviously takes pride in their food so kudos to you! Overall, it was a really fantastic experience and we would be back again in the future to try their lunch menu or see a show. Great to see places like this in the area for locals to enjoy 😊

Truly fabulous little venue. A feast for the eyes of artworks and memorabilia. Yaron Hallis has done an amazing job of bringing a "quirky" live music venue to us in the Hunter. I was lucky enough to see Aussie music icon Deborah Conway and Willy Zigier in this intimate environment, and it was a memorable treat.
They also have a delicious little Cafe for breakfast and lunch and a great dinner menu.

If you haven't been for a visit, you're missing out!
