The newest pub in town and what a pub, stayed the night in one of the pubs motel styled rooms freshened up and went for a quiet beer in the public bar. Main street blocked off, eat street was on the whole village out to enjoy themself and back in the pub karaoke, raffles and a cold beer 🍺 great pub and a community pub. historic little town with golf and bowls club,caravan park ??'? and fresh water creek running out back kid friendly 😄

After a stitch up from google maps I had to go through the boggy Richmond state park on my bicycle. I called and spoke to Carl who was very welcoming and relaxed re check in time and providing me with food. He even gave me a wave when I arrived between 7-8pm and lent me his personal hairdryer. It makes such a difference speaking to someone with such a lovely attitude and I really appreciated it

Recently we have been doing a lot adventure riding through the northern NSW area and have always found the Dog and Bull to be a staple when we visit.
You can always find a clean air conditioned room, great meal and excellent hospitality. This little gem really has a lot to offer.

My partner and I had to wait almost an hour for our dinner even though the hotel/restaurant had only a few patrons. Both our meals were terrible, overcooked fries, undercooked rump and a lasagna that was more like roadkill than anything else. Never again. I'd rather starve.
