About The Donald Hotel

Stayed there a while back. Had been in the truck for a while, allowed us to park the truck in the the back for the night, nice hot shower and probably the best steak I've ever had. Service and atmosphere is second to none. Highly recommend to anyone.

Came in for diner with my family. We were planning on eating somewhere after, so just shared a steak with my wife and kids had nuggets and chips. Portions were good, steak wasn't great, but not too bad either. Pubs atmosphere is good and staff is very helpfull and friendly! Catering for gluten free was no problem.

Had the best night ever locals and staff were amazing had the best belly laughs ever. And Mel the owner lovest person ever can't say enough about small country town hospitality.
Will definitely make the effort to return.

Great atmosphere and food. Mel has a heart of gold, a truly generous and kind human. Will definitely stop in again the next time we drive through Donald.

Was in this lovely little town for an appointment and dropped into the Donald Hotel to have a look at it's a great looking pub where we were greeted with fantastic hospitality from the staff had a couple of beers a great look around the very inviting pub after a couple of hours of talking to the British backpacker she gave us a great deal of information of the area and her experience of Australia so far! A very nice pub to visit

Working in Donald for about 5 weeks now and frequently coming to the pub here, absolutely fantastic and friendly staff. I can't praise the hospitality highly enough. Solid uncomplicated pub food, love it. Good work guys and keep it up
