I celebrated my 60th birthday at Fancy Things. it was a private function for 40 people. I could not have been any happier with the support leading up to my event. All of my guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Everything was perfect on the night of our function. Such an awesome night experimenting with fun cocktails. Great drinks menu so much to choose from. Such a fun vibe 🕺🏼

Ordered 3 cocktails and 2 dishes for $97. Sazerac was good but tasted a little 'diluted' compared to some others I've had. Chilli margarita didn't look red but was definitely spicy and refreshing. Fire and ice was strong but a little too herbal for my liking.
Coconut prawns were ok. Crispy but not the biggest or juiciest of prawns. Homemade chutney and tomato relish were nice though. Calamari was tasty and tender but not quite crispy enough. Also was more white rather than golden brown.
Great friendly service. Lovely seats Personally thought that if the floor was carpeted or curtains were drawn and lights were slightly dimmer that the place would have felt a bit more cosy and classier.

I celebrated my 40th birthday at Desir Wine and Cocktail lounge and I highly recommend this venue to all my friends and family. Michelle and Lorenzo were so hospitable, the service was a stand out!! I had guests come up to me to tell me of their positive experiences. Our grandmother felt so loved by all the staff attending to her all night long ensuring she was comfortable.
The food and cocktails were delicious. The stand outs for me was the seamless organization that made for a perfect night . Michelle tried to refund me money not used at the bar at the end of the night. I refused to accept this as the service was second to none but appreciated the honesty. Lorenzo you are such a beautiful man. All my guests love you. Thank you for an amazing experience.

I highly recommended Desir - Fancy Things
I had my daughter's 21st there for a Sunday lunch.
The staff are excellent very happy and cheerful and accommodate to your needs the cocktails are excellent, the food is great, and the vibe of the place feels nice

First time I've been back since covid and it didn't disappoint. The food was lovely, the cocktails were so delicious and such a great variety. The vibe of the place is still outstanding and very welcoming. So nice to have a place like this close to home
