Don't believe the photos.. ordered lunchtime special hamburger and chips, Pattie came straight out of a frozen pack, 1 slice of cheese, 2 rings of onion and thin slice of pickle. Breadroll stale hamburger could have been one you buy from Cole's in the frozen section.Had a tic tac to get rid of taste.
But that's not the worst $15 for burger + Ginger Beer and then charged for a glass of water. Never again.
I apologies for thinking you charged for water, however when she punched in the computer saying 2 x burgers, 1 ginger beer and one glass of water and $11.50 for GBeer seemed dear, but my apologies. However, we have been travelling in our caravan for 12 years touring Oz and love dining at country pubs. Your burger with 2 onion pieces and ok 2 thin pickles was one of the worst meals we've had. If you think that burger was good you need to get out more. Sorry but that was our experience. No we won't be back.

A great little family run country pub. Kitchen was closed over Xmas / NY so no food review.
Nice cold beer, and a few older locals with great knowledge of local history and many a good tale to tell.
Stop in on your way to Tamworth..it's worth it.

Fabulous! Always love stopping in here. The owners are super friendly & make you feel really welcome.
I've visited just with a group of friends & also on a bus tour so have ordered off the menu & had a set menu experience & both were excellent.
To be totally honest the drinks were a little pricey but other than that it was terrific.

Great friendly atmosphere. What a place to watch the sunset over the range, enjoy great company, a few drinks and the best steak I have eaten in years... watching the sunrise is just as beautiful when you stay in their accommodation also.

Took some friends from Florida here for lunch. They loved the vegetarian options and the rest of us had Bangers and mash and fish and chips.
Would definitely go on our way back.
