Eastwood Hotel

I've been visiting Eastwood Hotel for the past 20 years, and it has always been a great spot to catch up with friends over dinner and drinks. The atmosphere is lively, and it's a reliable go-to for a good time. Highly recommend for a casual night out!

As a pub and a restaurant this place is nice and inviting, As for the gamming, the management is ridiculously greedy. I have been coming to the Eastwood hotel for well over 25 years, the staff are helpfull and friendly, the place is cosy, but what make it not worth the visit is managements greed on the gamming machines. After a meal and a few drinks, it's enjoyable to play the gamming machines, I have done this many times at this place. Since the place has changed hands the gamming has been unendurable, impossible to play and stay for more then 5 min as the returns are so low. This place was always packed, it was hard to get a machine to play. NOT ANYMORE, now the place is empty and quiet as people all falling the same trap. No cheating, no excited players, just sadness and very few players, just like me we walk in and walk out 10 min & 250 later. The Eastwood is only good for the restaurant, and it's a younger person's environment, the pub is good for a few drinks, but get out after that. Management let the staff down, they try so hard and as so nice, only to be compensating for management greed, staff are the ones who have to put up with sad and unhappy customers, because they are getting robbed and unhappy about their choice of venue

I walked in at 1am. Got a vb and some random walks up to me chatting away. He was drunk n they thought im his mate?? I explain i don't know the dude. I get kicked out cause of a random I don't know. Now I need to keep awake as I have blood clotting issues n been off meds two days as I couldn't afford it at the time. One beer and 10 bucks n I'm booted cause of a random drunk chatting that I'm trying to get away from.

I received a $20 pub pass voucher and was told I had to use the full amount. Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to get two drinks at the bar, and I couldn't save the credit for another visit. The bartender at the counter assumed I'd get drunk after just one beer - before I'd even had my first drink! This was my first time experiencing an "alcohol assessment" before ordering. Truly disappointing, and I won't be coming back. I suppose there's a first time for everything.

I been a local in the area for more then 25 years and never had an issue going to this establishment, but recently They have the most un professional security and bartender ever. They ask the manager to do an alcohol evaluation on me while I just walk in to their establish, Where I didn't even had any alcohol prior of going there. Then they refuse to serve any more drinks to our table only after 2 rounds. Where table around us were getting multiple round serve without any issue. Don't know if it was an issue on us speaking Chinese on our table.
