Great pub. Friendly local non pretentious atmosphere. I really appreciate the character and personality the pub has established authenticity over the last 150 plus years. Far better than some of the nearby historic pubs that have had recent gentrified renovations. The in house home brew larger is a good drop too.

We had our daughter's confirmation celebration dinner at the Edinburgh Castle Hotel and we loved it. Food was absolutely fantastic, atmosphere was exactly what we wanted and the services was brilliant. Elyse and her staff made us feel so welcome. Cannot recommend enough

Our dining experience at the Edinburgh Castle Hotel in Brunswick was nothing short of exceptional. The food was perfect in every way, leaving us thoroughly impressed and satisfied.

We started our meal with the soup, which was rich and flavorful, warming us up perfectly for the main course. The kangaroo steak was a unique and delightful dish, cooked to perfection with a tender texture and a delectable marinade that highlighted the meat's natural flavors. The salmon was equally impressive, fresh and perfectly seasoned, accompanied by sides that complemented the dish wonderfully.

The service was as remarkable as the food. The staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless from start to finish. Considering the high quality of both the food and service, the prices were very reasonable, offering great value for an unforgettable meal.

We will definitely be back to the Edinburgh Castle Hotel Brunswick for another round of their fantastic fare. Highly recommended!

I've come here a number of times with a large (5-10) group of people and every time I've sat in the beer garden out the back and it's been so nice. The garden is separated into three sections and is decorated with quirky fixtures and colourful trimmings.

I love coming here because it feels like it's just teeming with good vibes.
The food here is pretty good and so are the drinks. But the biggest boon is definitely the access to space for a large group! I'm sure we'll be back again soon :)

A great service rented by a welcoming group of staff. Excellent customer service and hospitality. Very respectful and understanding staff who take care of the gluten-free needs very well. I am speechless as the food taste beautiful in the mouth. Andrée to cause no complain at all. Keep up the good work and we will continue to come to your place. I will highly recommend this pub or should I say restaurant or What to come and visit dining and enjoy yourself.
