We celebrated a birthday here with 13 of our nearest and dearest, and let me tell you, this place didn't just host our party, it joined it.

The staff? Absolute legends. The food? Outstanding. The atmosphere? Unbeatable. They even took care of the celebratory cake at a moments notice.

If you're celebrating something, or even if you're not, The Buncha is the place to be. Thanks, Tubby, Chris and Chris' Partner for a night we'll all remember (well, most of us... after a few too many red wines for me). We'll definitely be back! 🎉🍻🎂

Fantastic service, rocked up at 8pm after losing track of time fishing asked if they were still serving food. Got told as long as we were hungry they would serve us. And boy they did fantastic food large servings and really friendly service. Was so good to have a chat with the old guy behind the bar. Top notch service guys 10/10

The room was ok, but n9t finished being remodelled yet. Very noisy aircon. The cutlet meal was ok, but tiny chops and pkt veg. Very ordinary. The parmigiana meal was big and great.
Overall, it was a nice night stay.

November 2023 we were staying at the caravan park and walked over to the Edward River Hotel, what a fantastic night, the food was amazing, and the owners Chris and Teagan made us feel so welcome, we had a great night winning a lot of prizes during the raffle. I cannot rave about the food enough, best steak and the ribs were to die for. Thanks for great night going there again very soon.
November 2025 we are back again and the good was even better than lady year. Friday night raffle was a lot of fun and we were lucky enough to win lots of prizes. They have dune some renovations to the pub and it looks great. Seriously love this place, going back again soon. Thanks Chris and Teags for another great couple of nights.

Needs more staff. Night before big event in town and only 1 person in the bar. They were refusing to serve people and only had about 5 tables. Meals took over an hour to come out. Then salad was a packet variety from the supermarket where the lettuce was brown and sour brown and so not fresh. Would not eat there again.
