Pizzas were delicious. I tasted 2 varieties of pizza. Yum! My black coffee was perfect, so smooth! JoJo and John were such friendly hosts. The hotel was warm and inviting with the log fire. My elderly parents (from St.Arnaud) and I had lunch there last Saturday and throughly enjoyed our visit. The fire was GREAT in such miserable weather, pizza and baked potato went down well. Great renovation, friendly staff and that welcoming, relaxed country vibe. Perfect place to catch up with friends. We also enjoyed reacquainting ourselves with the town and area; haven't been there for years, but will definitely be back!

We have just had lunch here and it was great. Lovely dining area, nice, clean and comfortable.
We had an Angus pie (very nice) and a Hawaiian Pizza. The pizza was delicious with plenty of yummy toppings, nice and hot and now, all gone! We followed this with a coffee and a chai, both very well made and nice and hot. This sure beats luke warm from the major fast food outlets.
All in all, a very enjoyable experience and we will be back.

Host's John & Jojo have done a fantastic job restoring the old run-down Evans hotel pub. Into a warm, friendly, welcoming licenced restaurant B&B. I've enjoyed a few overnight stays with beautiful breakfasts and will definitely return.

Second visit today and have to say that the Evans hotel Bed & Breakfast has a wonderful warm and welcoming feeling by the owner John and JoJo with comfortable seating around the fire. I had a meatlovers pizza and a couple of glasses of wine and have to say the pizza was fantastic and the food and wine prices are very reasonable. The coffe is also great too.
