Nice enough lunch meal for a weekday.
Warm, antique feel with fire places both ends of small pub.
Had a steak and it was cooked beautifully, hubby had parmie and enjoyed it.
Toilets very basic, so would not be good on a busy night.
Prices for meals were reasonable.
Would l go back....maybe

Fantastic 3 of us we went on a cold day beautiful fire going meals were excellent 2 steak chips salad all good friend had lambs fry and bacon his favourite excellent the 3 of us meals drinks and tea $66 staff were terrific can't wait to go back

Cheap beer! Friendly service! What more could you ask for? Stopped in off the rail trail for 1 beer, ended up having 3... bar staff were kind enough to refill our water bottles at the bar. Meals looked huge... wish we had time to stay for one? Will come again.

Edit: Went back again for the parma... thankfully opted for the standard sized (not King sized) Honolulu parma. More than enough to fill a hungry cyclist. Will come again.

Beautifully refurbished, open fire places, great food...when it finally arrives. Understaffed, flippant front of house, always hope for a better experience but alas, never get it. 🙄 Sorry, after a dozen visits, just cannot support there any longer.
