Disappointed with our meals yesterday ? .
We have been coming to this pub for 6 years, great play area for the kids and staff are lovely but the food for terrible our food was microwave schnitzels had no taste.
Times are hard and if you go out for a meal you want a good meal.
We won't be back.

Been going here for 15 years...
Ordered something for dinner, was obviously cooked at lunchtime and preheated.. couldn't cut potatoes! Meat (slow cooked lamb) was dry and dark! I sent an email and was basically called a liar.. and told I should of addressed the issue then and there.. end of conversation after sending another email..
Wouldn't bother.. terrible customer service..

Such a great place to go for a weekend lunch or dinner. We chose to eat in the bar rather than the bistro as it was quieter. The same menu is available and they have plenty of gluten free options. The staff, as always, were wonderful and the food was spot on.

Been to dinner twice now and the food is great - cooked to perfection and plenty on the plate. You won't go hungry. Price is good as well. Staff are friendly and very helpful and understanding. Love the Drouin Family Hotel. John

We just stopped for a quick lunch, and it was quick. Good value for money food . Though I'm not one to like to eat in venues that have gambling, we had a good time. There were 15 of us and we were fed in no time.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here. There is an extensive menu with most meals having a Gluten-free option. The staff are very friendly and the service was great. Would highly recommend. We will definitely come back again.

Always a good experience. The play area does get rowdy at times so always good to get a seat close by if your kids are going to be going in there. Service is always fantastic, always greeted with a friendly welcome. Food is always served looking well presented, and tastes delicious. We've never had a bad experience here and we've been a fair bit! Meals are reasonably priced and we never go home hungry. In fact, we generally take home leftovers.

Meals were huge and tasty, loud atmosphere, play room out of control and very small.

Great menu, lots of choices, good company and staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my meal, and all our group appeared to enjoy theirs.

I had the calamari it was absolutely delicious. My friend had steak and was cooked to how she likes it. The rest of our group were all happy with their meals. The staff were all nice and polite, nothing was to much trouble. I would definitely go back there.

This place is our local and it normally always hits! Good meals, good service and cold drinks. Great play area for kids, good sports bar and all round friendly pub atmosphere!

Rocked up at 5:30 on Monday night after waiting in the car for 20 minutes for meals to start just to be told they're closed for a private function by some arrogant older man who tells me i should've made a booking. Great way to treat regular customers.

A pleasant family atmosphere with plenty of elbow room. The menu was stacked with choices and the generous sized meals were well presented as well as delicious. Large windows at the rear of the dining room provided great views of the distant hills.

We were playing at the Drouin family hotel, so we (Blackout band) made an evening of it....we got there around 400pm, set up our equipment, and then had a lovely meal there... I must say that, for a country style hotel, they sure know how to provide good service, and a great crowd!!! We started playing around 830pm, and the crowd was most enthusiastic...We did not finish until 12.45 am, it took us about an hour to pack up, and then, we sat around until closing time..thanks for a great night!!!

My husband, daughter and I had lunch here today and are keen to return! The food was delicious, very affordable and came out in a timely manner. Our little one loved the playroom, there is also a camera in there that displays on a tv in the bistro so you can easily monitor your child while you eat, genius! The staff were friendly and welcoming. We will be back! Very impressed :)

The bistro is huge, and isn't the best to look at, but it's all about the food. Reasonable beer selection, mostly mainstream.

Really enjoyed going yo this Family Hotel, my first time there. The staff were friendly and showed genuine interest in what you were saying. The food was awesome and service was quick. The children were entertained the whole time in the play area. And love it too! Well Done, it's a thumbs up for me and my friends.

Really good pub food. The kids have a play area with video feed screens, so you can keep an eye on the play area from your table.
Good range of drinks at the bar. And most importantly a family night out won't send you broke!

Husband took us out for my birthday. As on had spare ribs nice hubby had steak with garlic butter salad and chips. Our daughter gad the chicken burger that was huge and she could not eat it all. Mine was the calamari it was a large serve of food and very yum.

Great family hotel. Kids love the playground with jumping castles and interactive games. The food is great value for money and always quick and fresh no matter how busy it is. Highly recommend. Especially if you have kids.

Yep! It's a pub! And you'll get a pub feed, no doubt. The Parma was fine (went Texan but should have just gone the straight option - no need to mess with a classic, is there? Have you ever had a Parma and said to yourself, "This is great, but what's really missing is slow cooked beef brisket..."?) But the staff were great and there was a nice local friendly vibe. No pale ales on tap so we drank like bloody locals with schooners of Carlton Draught. Nothing wrong with that, mate.

As we finished (penultimate diners) the Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen fired up with some sick beats. Capped off a good time at the Fammo.

The Drouin Family Hotel is an old building, the food is amazing. I'm never a fan of pub food. Drouin Family Hotel is probably the best hotel food I have had so far. I had the pork ribs. The meal was huge. The price of it is worth every penny. The meat fell off the bone and the flavour of the ribs, spicy and smokey. The coleslaw was a great addition and the chips was cooked to perfection, crispy and not over salted.

Clean tidy and covid safe. Great food staff are friendly and polite. Everyone is well spaced and you must wear a mask when you arrive and leave your table. Great idea.

Overall the food was very average. The staff and service were fantastic. The price was too high for the quality of food provided.

My family and I went for dinner last night at 5.30pm the service was very poor!
The food was disgusting once we ordered we were the only people there and the food still took almost an hour to come out, the popcorn chicken was so burnt at was almost black and the same for the kids chicken nuggets I complained and was told yeah they are slightly over done well I'd love to know what they consider burnt.
The chicken stir fry was gross was meant to have Asian veggies More like soggy cabbage tinny bits of shredded carrot, and just in a bowl full of sauce that was so sweet it wasn't edible.
Then the rocket side with the popcorn chicken was yellow with black dots all over it!
We paid $140 for our meals with drinks and the drinks were the best part.
Safe to say we will never go back!

Nice food Stressed staff, which makes us all feel stressed. smokers all smoke in the door way, so might as well be in the same room. Left as soon as we could, won't be back.

Meals were lovely and a generous size. Lots of gluten free and kids options. The kids loved the playground too.

Wow what a great meal, thank you guys n gals excellent service, Shannon is a fantastic venue manager and the chefs are blitzing the menu. Everything I seen come out tonight my mouth watered! Well done and thanks for the service over the years! I am a regular and highly recommend this place.

It's OK, nothing to rave about either way although the bar service is most underwhelming!

Fantastic kids playground, food was pretty good and drinks cold. Staff friendly and courteous, very popular eatery, need to book up.
