Dined for two dinners. Overall, a classy pub with very good quality meals. The chicken Parma was hands down the best pub Parma ever. Sizeable serving of chicken, with a beautiful tomato napolitano sauce, ham and cheese. Upgraded to veggies which were rustic and well cooked. 5 stars for the Parma. Chips were pretty good, could be a bit crispier but that's personal preference.
The seafood spaghetti was delicious. Everything worked well together, cooked perfectly.
The scotch steak was good. But the red wine jus was served with it already on top. No jug to pour over and moisten then steak.
Calamari was alright. Could have been a bit crispier and less oily.
The sticky pork ribs on rice was a let down. Whilst the pork ribs were sticky and well cooked, they were small in size (length and width) with little meat. So two small racks left me wanting more as there wasn't much to eat with the rice. Lots of bones. For the price would have expected three of those sized racks. Which would have provided a complete and satisfying meal.
Waited about an hour for the food. Watched others eat and go. Maybe there was a difficult dish in our order. It took a while.
But the staff were fantastic, friendly and were helpful in providing cheese and chilli sauce.
