Called into the Farmers Arms for some food and drinks whilst visting family in the area and was met with a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a great selection of food and drinks. Had the Duck dish that was on the specials board and enjoyed every mouthful. If passing through or living in the area its definitely worth a visit also met the owners who were very friendly and gave us some local knowledge whilst visiting the area. Looking forward to returning again .

Good night out, rustic setting. Not all over the top Reno's but we enjoyed it. The locals enjoyed the bar area, we, the dining room.

I'll be brutally honest, please listen to your customers. The lamb shanks was NOT falling off the bone, they were rock hard and couldn't be cut with a knife. So we sent all 4x lamb shanks back and reordered steaks instead. What is shocking, after we sent the 4x lamb shanks back, another lamb shanks was served to another customer sitting at another near by table and that lamb shanks too was sent back. Also, poor customer serving time with the food. Anyway, i had eaten your MSG seasoned food I was served which gave me rapid heart racing that night. Can't say I'll be back ever again. Please, please clean up your cooking skills with serving quality clean food as we still waited atleast an hour to be served. Just being honest. Just wasn't a nice experienced. Disappointed and ruined the night.

States in a motel after a long drive and needed a couple of beers and dinner.
What a great find.
First thing I noticed was that the pub oozed rustic charm which I really like.
The two young bar staff Ell and Ryan, who were friendly and
chatty were from the same area as myself back near Liverpool, England and the owner a very nice Welsh fella, Lee was from the same part of a small Welsh town as a friend of mine. Small world.
They have a few of your mainstream beers on tap and a couple of craft beer options which is great, also a bottle shop attached for further options.
I opted for the Fisherman's basket with chips and salad. I never choose seafood when I am quite far inland but I was definitely not disappointed in my choice especially with a delicious homemade tartare sauce.
Also a good atmosphere on the night I went in with lots of friendly locals in there for a pool game.
The pub also does drive through coffee and breakfast rolls from 6am which I duly indulged in. Full English breakfast muffin with two hash browns, again delicious and a flat white before heading off to work.
I will definitely drop in again when I travel that area in the future.

This is genuinely the only pub, or restaurant in general really, I've ever been to that cooks a steak properly.

It came out with a perfect inside and an actual crust on the outside. No fake grill lines, nice and thick, just properly cooked. Could taste the quality of the local aged beef as well.

Parma was great too.
