Magnificent food, service and atmosphere.

Everything we ordered was spot on 10/10. One of the best steaks I've ever had, and the Celeriac Remoulade was a stunning little surprise.

We were seated near the kitchen and hearing them work was a pleasure - it's no wonder the food was that good.

We stumbled into this pub walking past on a recent trip to Melbourne and boy was it a pleasant surprise. Happy hour is good value with a great range. Vibe and atmosphere is fantastic and cosy. Would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area!

The Sunday roast was a bust in my mouth moment. They had the pork and duck with cannellini beans and I must say, it was scrum dilly umptious! Finished it off with a sticky date pudding which I didn't really need, but let's be real - who's not eating dessert, especially if it's sticky date. A very pubby feel to it. The best thing about it was that it wasn't too expensive (around $25 for Sunday roast). It's a space where you can dine in quietly or have a session with the footy on. Not too much parking around here as it's on Johnston St, but you might be lucky to snag a park just outside. Close to many other bars and restaurants in the area. Would love if they had Guinness on tap though ;)

Havent been here in a while, came in for steak night. Great value, delicious steak. The tall ginger bearded waiter was extremely helpful with everything tonight

I went to the Fitzroy Town Hall Hotel last night for drinks and dinner with a friend, she recommended it as she'd been there for a 50th there. The bar is as expected with friendly staff. The dining room was a surprise in a good way. I had a french onion soup and a terrine. Both were exceptional and well priced. Much better than standard pub fare. I'll be back. Recommended!

We randomly tried this pub because of their happy hour and it turned out to be such a nice place! We ordered a burger and their schnitzel. I didn't have high expectations for the schnitzel, but it was really good. Plus, we scored with the beer! The only downside was that the table we picked was a bit sticky, but overall, it was a great experience.

Incredible food, really reasonable prices, great service and great value for money. My partner and I had our date night dinner here recently and we both absolutely loved it. We would recommend it to anyone and will definitely be coming back again!!

I don't ever write reviews and yet here we are. Booked a table for Sunday night family dinner and we were served by two young and unfortunately very inexperienced staff. I felt for these young people on this night as they were very much out of their depth when it came to running a dining room. I also felt like there was a couple dining nearby which seem to be friends of the staff and that's where the two wait staff spent most of their time. We were not the only guests to send food back and to top it off we had finished our meal whilst still waiting for the bottle of wine we ordered and never received. Such a lovely venue with a ripping outdoor area, probably best for just popping in for a beer to watch the footy.
