My wife & I had lunch there yesterday.
The food was tasty & very satisfying. We chose from the Seniors menu & were surprised by the generous serves ...more than enough for our lunch.
The staff were delightful & nothing was too much for them. My wife has coeliacs & the person taking our order went out of his way to confirm her meal was gluten free.
The comfortable 'pub' atmosphere made the whole experience just perfect.
Highly recommended & thanks for making our visit so positively memorable.

A little taste of the Emerald Isle in Melbourne's multicultural Western suburbs, Flanagan's Irish Pub (originally the Border Inn, then changing its name to Flanagan's, then back to the Border Inn, then back to Flanagan's again. I suppose you could say it's the Prince Rogers Nelson of pubs) is an authentic Irish pub in the centre of the bustling Bacchus Marsh CBD, with plenty of knick-knacks to gaze upon. One can sample genuine Irish food and drink such as a fruit tingle cocktail and a mixed grill, and listen to some traditional Irish music (DJ Dozza). Legend goes it's haunted.

A nice steak, to be fair. However, asked for rare, was told "Here's your medium-rare steak" and was served a medium-well done steak. This could explain why it took about 40 minutes for our meals to be delivered.
Thursday steak night might be cheap, but it's tradie night, so unless you want to be greeted and farewelled by dozens of pissed blokes in shorts and singlets, might want to try a different night.

Flanagan's was an interesting pub. It has many nooks and crannies to dine on and explore. The service was exceptional, friendly, and efficient. A good range of food was available. My meal was very tasty.

The customer service was exemplary. Nick took great care of us a group of 17 and 4 kids too. The cuisine was well presented and the taste left a lingering yearning to come back again. Commendation to the Chef and the team.

We walked into Flanagan's for lunch after visiting the Avenue of Honour in Bacchus Marsh.
The people at the counter and the serving staff were very friendly, polite and professional in their interactions with us.
We ordered Beer, and Lemon, Lime n' Bitters for drinks.
We had Garlic Prawns, Brisket Burgher, Steak Sandwich (with and without bacon), and Golden Chicken Strips for mains.
For dessert, we had the Crème Brûlée and the Sticky Date Pudding.
The serving portions are quite big and cooked to perfection.
They have a good collection of Irish food and drinks, which should be tried.
We sat outside as it was a very pleasant day, at wooden tables that were reminiscent of pubs in Europe. The music ranged from pop to rock from the 90s, which suited us quite well.
A really nice place to have lunch or dinner in because of the food, ambience and exceptional service.
