Accomodation was.. interesting. As we walked in the hall we were greeted by 10 or so pairs of dirty boots and clothes so the hallway literally just smelt like a farm (I did tell my partner I wanted to give him the Tassie experience, but not to that extent). Then we got into the room and it was alright, floors were super creaky and old, but it was clean. When they warn you about the noise they aren't kidding. We stayed on a Monday and could hear everything.. You get what you pay for! If you're on a budget it's a good option.

Lovely check in, great staff, room a little noisey due to other guests. But a great place to stay close to the port

We went to the restaurant for lunch. $33 for a steak gristle sandwich. Lamb (tiny) meatballs overcooked, gravy was wrong and lumpy mash

Had an amazing dinner here. I had Pork belly with roasted carrots and beans and the husband had lamb rack. The chef does the most amazing sauces to go with these. Best pub meal I have ever had. Staff were lovely and attentive but not over baring. Fantastic!

Worst night ever. Ruin my trip in Tassie. I tried to sleep around 10pm to get a early flight the day after and downstairs bar is very loud and noisy. It's like I were sleeping in the middle of the bar. The reception did not mention at all when I checked in. After I checked my email and found out they have Saturday night things. But they should mention it when I check it as I were travelling and do not really have time check email. If I knew it, I will definitely find another place to stay.

There was nobody mention Saturday night entertainment to me when I checked in.

Food was really GOOD, I had pork belly and it was so tender. It is one of best pub meals I have had in Tasmania. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Didn't eat here,staying tonight. Motel upstairs but bed seems comfy room is presentable and clean.
