Forrest Beach Hotel

Honestly was very good food. Welcoming people, very nice view. Would recommend to go eat. Quite underrated to be honest.

Dated rooms but the service we received from the hotel staff was outstanding. So close to the beach. A hidden gem. The meals were as good as or better than anywhere else we have stayed.

I feel terrible for being negative but dont want to be misleading 🙁.
Firstly the staff were not the issue they were very helpful. But the power n water sites for $45 is very expensive 😕 for the state of this park :( Broken uneven slabs 😩..very hard to get yr van level. TBH if we didnt have a issue that needed attention we wouldve left then n there. The industrial skip bins were overflowing n the stench was rotten 😳! The amenities were dated but u could see someone had put abit of effort into cleaning them ??'?.
BUT the overall general appearance n tidiness of the park was disappointing.
Beautiful views so really hope someone takes pride in this park and does it justice...then we wouldn't mind paying $45.

Had a meal at FBH watching the NRL Grand Final - best pub meal in a long time! Steak cooked perfectly! The staff are super friendly and helpful, and might I add many are young staff who acted so professionally and were incredibly personable. Well done FBH!! Andrea and Robert

So, so much in need of care attention and a clean. We were there for three nights. The amenities are old, which is okay, but not clean at all.

We used our shower facilities in the van.

There are a few permanent people, and please I appreciate tough times but management needs to enforce some residential boundaries on presentation. It's a mess.

I was speaking to a person who had stayed there many times and said it is slowly going downhill and this would be their last stay.

It's a shame. Good location and the shire have put in some great play areas for children and free barbecues.
