And the food has lifted and is generally excellent for a pub. We go here over any number of more famous restaurants in the area and always have a nice meal. A great local.

Why don't more people have lunch at this place on week days? The food is excellent! Menu changes with the seasons. Fresh, good sauces, good salads, good choice. Not just about burgers and chips even though they have these well done. Reasonable prices. The decor of the pub is good It's only problem is not enough people! Mostly the staff are friendly and efficient.

We had the suckling pig and although the food was nice the service and atmosphere was terrible. For the money we spent on the suckling pig one should expect that the staff would be a lot friendlier and attentive. We had to ask for our table to be cleared, no one asked at any time if we needed anything - for almost 2 hours!

A little hidden gem in Paddington, with restaurant-quality food in a cosy pub setting.

Colin Fassnidge put the Four on the map back in the day, and the current restaurant and bar team have kept it there.

The Fillet steak, the Porchetta and the fish of the day are constant stand outs, as is the Sunday lunch.

The fish of day today was pan fried Blue Eyed cod with spinach veloute, charred cauliflower, cabbage crisp and pancetta. Absolutely delicious and very good value at $39 for this quality.

My husband & I love this place! Friendly fast service and the food is always great. I got the roast and it was delicious. One of the best I've had in a long time! Thanks Four in Hand Hotel, we will be back 😊

Great pub for Sunday arvo drinks with great prices too!
Four In Hand Hotel is open Monday through Saturday from noon to 11 PM. They are also open Sunday from noon to 10 PM.
