Food here was amazing, for a local pub located right on the highway and train tracks, accommodation was pleasant but didn't have the local country feel we were expecting. Room rattles as trucks and train goes by, but the free camp ground out back was a bonus for my camping mates. Unfortunately the cafe was also closed the day we got up so no coffee for the trip day after.

Ordered the challenge, although we don't do the challenge
Steak was OK, but was looking forward to the chips. Lucky if there was 200 g let alone 500 as promised and paid for. They were all wet and soggy because the steak was placed on top of the small amount there were.
Had it with vegetables and they were all stone cold
Plates were too small completely different to previous visit where everything was spread out big plate and there was a half a kilo of chips as promised.
So disappointed

Came to try after seeing all thier food challenges on Facebook!
Pub itself is old, nothing fancy. There's lots of seating outside and some inside.
We got here just before lunch service started, once the kitchen opened it was buzzing with people. Ordering was fast & stress free even though there were a few groups of people infront of us, wait times at the bar were good too.
Entrees came out very quickly, mains in a timely manner.
Food was awesome! You can order half or full sized parmiganas, we had half sized and the portions were so generous I definaly didnt need a full sized one. Salads were amazing & full of ingredients.
Staff are lovely.
Id definatly visit again when in the area.

Had dinner the other night...just the 3 of us an the food was beautiful an the beers where ice cold..fantastic service. We drove over an hour an was worth every kilometre..we will be back 100%... thanks foh an boh..hats off to a job well done!

A great little country pub with excellent food choices - literally dozens of different parmis, and their steaks topped with garlic prawns are scrumptious and reasonably priced! There's a well stocked little store attached too, selling a good array of gourmet foods and gifts.
