Great re-vamp of a local favourite. Staff are great, food is delicious, drinks list is extensive and wonderful. Always a great day when you can get a table!!

There are so many wines by the glass on the menu which is good. Service is pretty decent and nice chairs and tables 😀🏼

Only recommendation is always bring the bottle to the table to pour, otherwise what's the point in just bringing the glass of wine without the bottle.

Great vibe and energy. Friendly roaming staff (ie good service). Staff engage in banter and make you feel welcome. The cheese board is sensational, meaning cheese is good, presented beautiful with fruit and get this they balance this with the right quantity of cut up pita bread. Good work team! Also, a wine bar that has Carlton draught on tap before you readily transition to a glass or two of some quality wines. Happy face!

A really nice bar, very good vibe. Sitting outside with a beautiful sunset and a drink is really lovely. Staff are friendly. Really good to have in Hawthorn! Food is pretty good too! Good for a casual drink or a night that you feel like dressing up for 😊

So needed in Hawthorn. A lot of care & investment in the refurbishment & will so work with a multi generational demographic. We just loved it. We had wine & 2 separate conversations with the owner & his son to understand what they wanted to achieve. We had no food this time around.

Gibson's Wine Bar Hawthorn is open Monday from 3 PM to midnight. They are also open Sunday through Saturday from noon to midnight.
