Favourite was Hayman's sloe. Pink lady and Hendricks was great too. The care the bartenders took to make the garnishes was exemplary of their skills. Watched them roll a cucumber with a rose bud attached. Great strong cocktails with an awesome dark atmosphere that's a lot less loud than other places. Service was excellent as well being prompt, friendly and accommodating. Had to wait for only about ten minutes by the bar before they made a space for two of us .

Impressive selection of cocktails and nice old world charm and atmosphere, with plenty of comfortable spaces.

I go for the martini's, I stay for the atmosphere. Always friendly, knowledgeable staff. Lots of fun memories from my earlier years (that's how long they have been in business) plus I had my first kiss with my fiancé here, it will always be a special spot for us. My fav spot is the harem.

One of the most popular and original hole in walk bars in Melbourne. Has been open for over 25 years and recently had a reno.
