Yesterday,Wed 26th, I attended a fairwell lunch with 20 others of our Tai Chi group in the lounge. Most ordered the seniors menu. I ordered the seafood basket. I can only describe it as "disgusting". Crumbed, overcooked calimari, rock hard prawn skewer, and the mussels, I was looking forward to, were only slightly opened and adhered to their shells so I had to scrape them out. Served luke-warm. A chef wouldn't have the lack of pride in him/herself, so saying as a long time cook myself, to send such a meal to the table. So who "cooked it I wonder? A kitchen hand??? I made no fuss so as not to embarrass my companions. But on our next lunches I will be lobbying them to go elsewhere.
