Good honest bar and hotel rooms perfect for a boys trip

This is not a review of the bar just the 'hotel'
Firstly the positives - the sheets and towels were clean and in good condition and the bed was comfortable. If you removed these to somewhere else ....
The hotel is tatty - some of which can be accepted as it is a one star hotel but not all.
The main issues are
1. Common Room that looks like a store room (if it is this then shut the door) - the fridge in the room has NEVER been cleaned!
2. There is no hot water in the Ladies bathroom which has one shower, a bath with a curtain chucked up against it and a toilet. It was not that the hot water had been used - none came out of the tap and trust me the cold is cold

Good food, kid friendly space, good service.
Give them a try. I recommend them

Poor food steak was microwave then cooked chicken parmigiana was veal all un eat able.

Great food and service. Well worth checking out
