I would like to start by saying... I am honoured by the fact they named this pub after me. I would like to thank... no just kidding but it was pretty cool as Goldy is my nickname.

I loved the food. The parmy had a different style to it. I really enjoyed it. I can't say what the difference was but the chef nailed it.

The staff at the bar were super kind and caring the manager too. This pub had a very homely feel. I really enjoyed it.

So, see you next time and thanks for having us.

First time at Goldy's Tavern and it was so delicious! Got the steak and it was cooked to perfection. Juicy and tender and the red wine jus was the best I've ever had! Great atmosphere very cozy and warm, perfect for winter. Definitely recommend and will be back the next time I'm craving a steak!

Love this little local pub. Went tonight and got the steak. It was juicy and delicious. I would highly recommend the red wine jus.
The only way it could have been better would be a little bit of garlic butter.
The bartenders were great, service was easy and atmosphere was chill.

We had our wedding party at Goldy's and it was just so much fun. It couldn't have been better. Great food. Great drinks. Perfect ambiance and just an all memorable time. Everyone loved it. Kudos to the team and events manager Valentina for making it all run so smoothly.

Goldy's Tavern has an abundance of old world charm, with various oddities such as mismatched chairs and walls lined with framed photos of dogs working lending the venue a sense of playful quirkiness. The venue is deceptively large, with enough nooks and crannies to leave me scratching my head when trying to find where your friends grabbed a table. The food is pretty decent; we were satisfied with the steak and Parma specials, and there is a good selection of beers on tap.

Not happy. Went on the strength of an Age review. No pub ambience, just a room of to the side with a view of an open toilet door. Food was ordinary at best but full priced. Service was friendly and helpful. Won't be back.

Goldy's is truly in a league of its own. A very good mate introduced me to the venue, and now it's our go to regular to catch up in. Brilliant beers on tap, a superb wine list and super sized portions - this is unlike so many Melbourne venues. Thanks, Goldy's, for always great vibes.

I've been here many times as a patron and had an excellent time. I recently had the pleasure of hosting a function in one of the private rooms available which was catered and a bar tab set up. The staff were superbly lovely and competent making the evening flow smoothly and effortlessly. The food was great and enjoyed by all and the tab was enjoyed without a hitch. 10/10 would recommend a function. Also, great place for a game of pool and a pint if that's ya vibe.

Lovely homely old style pub. Beautifully cosy with two real fires on a brisk autumnal day in Melbourne. Several areas to eat and drink, a games area with a pool table, a lounge area, a dining area and an outdoor area. We started off indoors and then migrated to the outdoor area under a heater. All the tables were reserved for later in the day, so obviously a popular place. Good range of craft beer on tap. Didn't try the food but menu looked good. Attracts a youngish crowd as in mid 30s. Friendly bar staff. My only criticism would be that we found the music a bit loud for a Saturday afternoon. But it won't stop us returning.

Goldy's! You guys are the Best! The most perfect pub to celebrate after our wedding. The team at Goldy's were amazingly hospitable, and so easy to deal with. We booked a private room in the George Langley Room - it was perfect for our 28 guests. They even provided us with our own speaker sound system in the room, which meant we could dance the night away to our own music. Goldy's also offered a great variety of food and beverage packages which made it even easier for us. Thanks so much Goldy's you legends!!!

Relaxed friendly vibe, with a funky and diverse crowd - all persuasions were represented and catered for. There was a DJ spinning cool and forgotten tracks from the 80s. The food was great, well cooked and with some real effort made with the flavours- I rate it one off the better pub meal experiences I've had (we had barramundi). The dining room full of dog photos is super quirky! Recommended.

We booked Goldy's for a surprise 30th and cannot recommend the venue enough. The outdoor courtyard space was the perfect setting for a large group (around 40 people). We ordered food from the function pack which was excellent and we were very well looked after all night. Thanks Goldy! ?

We had dinner here on Friday night and we will definitely be back. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the food was awesome and the pub has an amazing feel to it. We also sat in 'The Good Bois' room which is filled with photos and pictures of dogs which was highlight. What a place. Thank you Goldy's!

Nice atmosphere and good service but if you're looking for good value, look elsewhere. Beer selection okay, food was decent quality but portions way too small. Can't say I plan on returning any time soon.

We hosted our engagement party at Goldy's Tavern. We picked the venue because their function packages are super flexible. The staff were extremely helpful planing and on the night. We had 70 people in the beer garden. It was a cold and wet night but you couldn't tell because the shelter and the heaters worked well. Would happily recommend to others for their next event.

Was recommended by a friend to go to Goldy's. Had my Birthday celebrations here and the bar team were so friendly! Accommodated for our last minute requests and helped with my birthday cake. The pub is ace, good pool room, great peeps.

Love this place! The set up is fantastic, and still has a lot of respect for the history of the building (old leincsters arms). The fancy fish and chips is my fave on the menu. Recommended the cocktail menu (shark juice in particular). Great vibes all round!

Such a classic pub. Gorgeous venue, delicious food and super friendly staff. They've got a great outdoor seat up and a massive pool table. I love this place ??
