Good Intent Grafton

I had lunch a lovely lunch at the Food Intent Hotel. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked scrumptious. I thoroughly enjoyed the fish tacos and miso butter linguine. Highly recommend this establishment!

Place unfortunately was a bit of a let down due to the heat being unbearable there is no air-conditioning and barely any air flow, most of us were dripping with sweat after 10 minutes. I paid $45 for a surf and turf - the meal was average in both size and flavour and the salad was not fresh. The corn chips and dip however were delicious and the staff were friendly. I would recommend moving the music entertainment to the outside area, the space it was in was small and hot and loud, it would have been way better situated outside in the fresh air.

wonderful food, amazing staff , clean bath room went there for the adult Halloween party however was cancel since DJ wasn't able to come its a shame they didn't just use Spotify and got a speaker to play Halloween music since place was done up so well i was super disappointed since i live on central coast and was looking forward to it since i planned my trip since it was only Halloween party that was on last night near where I'm staying so next time i do hope the let people know when a event like that is cancelled and they could have since we booked a table there and no sign up about it being cancelled had to ask staff member about it

We went to the Good Intent Hotel tonight for dinner to celebrate a special achievement, but sadly the night was a real letdown. We'd booked in advance, but when we arrived our reservation wasn't recognised and we had to wait for a table to be made up for us.

Once we finally sat down, the wait for food was ridiculous. It took an hour and 15 minutes for the first meal to come out, then another 15 minutes between each dish until everyone finally had their meals. By then, the whole night felt dragged out and frustrating - not what you expect when you're spending over $300.

We tried to give feedback to the manager, but he brushed us off and didn't want to listen. On top of that, they were running a trivia night and the speakers were so loud that people were moving outside just to get away from the noise. Even after multiple requests, the manager refused to turn it down.

All in all, what should have been a really special night ended up being stressful, noisy, and disappointing.

I took my wife to the G.I. for lunch and as usual we were not disappointed. This was the 4th time we have had meals there and the food has been fantastic every time. The staff are very friendly and their kitchen staff really know what they are doing. Definitely a 10 out of 10.
