Goondi Hill Hotel

There was about 14 of us but unfortunately they couldn't get our orders right and my meal came out after all our table had finished and plates cleared so no not a very good experience and probably wouldn't go there again 😕.

Came in for meals with the family while on Christmas Holiday from Brisbane. Meals were great quality pub fare. Battered fish, crumbed steak, steak burgers were great. Good size portions, friendly and welcoming staff. Would recommend to locals and travellers alike. Will be back for sure next time I'm in town.

Got an entry in Jag the Joker with our drinks order. We did not win the jackpot, but picked up a constellation meat tray. Would easily be $50 or more worth of snags, chops and bacon. Travellers luck some may say. But it will be high on my list to return soon.

Stopped in for dinner and ordered the crumbed steak with mash and veg as well as the full rack of ribs with chips and salad......absolutely delicious 🤤😍

I really liked the food, very big portion. I ordered the crumb steak and we also got a cheesy garlic bread. Food came out extremely quickly.

Good restaurant to have tea good price if you want good BBQ ribs you should go get some they are so good the meat just falls of the born

Comfortable bed, hot showers, but noisy from traffic and unclean kitchen without utensils. Loud intermittent beeping from low beeping fire alarm- informed staff of problem but it was not resolved and struggled to sleep

Room review,
it's probably the cheapest accommodation in the town so I wasn't expecting miracles but this was really bad. Dirt dirt and dirt again,
dirty bedding, stains and lots of mess on the carpet, layers of dust everywhere, cobwebs and the room smelled a lot.
+The staff were nice
+Location is good

Nice old Pub, friendly service, great food.

I recently stayed upstairs for a few nights, the room had no remotes for tv or ac which was noisy and the fan was worse. Normally you get a jug of water in fridge, but nothing! The pillows on my bed needed replacing and no protectors on them. When people had a shower as we had shared bathroom, the pipes were so noisy, $81 a night I expected better accommodation. The shared kitchen was dirty as all the back area was. I ate in the restaurant the first night and didn't go back, I have heard They do nice food! Just looking at the presentation of my meal, said a different story.
I will find other accommodation in the future!
