We had dinner there. Spontaneous, we decided to try it out. We loved the food. It was Steak night, so my husband tried the steak. He really liked it. I had the poke bowl, which was very delicious as well. Service was friendly and helpful.

Arrived 6:45 pm and very crowded inside. We were a large group of 12 people. Managed to cobble together three high tables near the bar. Ali, our waiter/host, was awesome helping us with tables, and placing our order. Thanks! Also, good bartenders. However, kitchen was slammed and took 1h 15m for us to get our food. The staff were very apologetic. Food was very good when it arrived.

Making a trip down the coast and booked in advance for the food and beer. Glad we did.

Great service and food came out super fast!

Monday steak night was nice. Beers were yum. Got the flight, could've been bigger glasses rather than 30ml type shots but for $20 guess the value was there.

Only bad bit was expecting a little higher quality looking dining room??? Ambience was average.

After a long day on the road. We thought we would pop in for a drink. Decided to have some dinner whilst we were here. One of the best chicken schnitzels I've had! It didn't last long on the plate not to mention a very short wait for food!
Great chilled pub with acoustic music and Australian whiskeys on offer. Well worth a visit if you're going through Apollo bay. I know I'll be back!

my partner and i were wary of the food given the other reviews but found it all very enjoyable. not mind blowing food but a solidly good pub feed. my medium rare steak was cooked perfectly. my partner's parma was delicious but the crumb could have been crispier. all in all, a lovely meal in a lovely location.

Ordered some steaks, chicken schnitzel and claim chowder on Monday steak night. Our steaks to our dismay were dry even for a medium rare steak. The sauces and chicken schnitzel were great. However clam chowder was average and chips were soggy. It felt more like a place for drinks than food. Service was great.
