Great traditional pub, friendly owners and staff and just the best meals!!! Park up out the back, have a meal and a few drinks. Highly recommend this place 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A fantastic pub. One of the friendliest and welcoming if not the most friendly and welcoming pubs I have been to throughout Australia. The owners are lovely. Good prices on drinks too. The free stay out the back is great.

Over from SA and spent a night free camping out the back.
Very welcoming owners. Had a good pub meal and a few drinks.
Locals friendly and talkative.
Publican and his wife were very good people and consequently we were the last to leave the bar.
Not experienced in free camping but if it was all that easy would do it much more.

Plenty of room went in for a beer or two
Brad the owner was very friendly and helpful
All the locals were friendly some were hilarious with there stories definitely worth a stop in

Just a great little Aussie pub. Interesting old sandstone hotel, circa 1830s I think, good honest pub grub, and the beers are cold, but the welcome is warm.

The pub here is pretty cool and cozy, but the best part of it is the owners, they're the nicest people we've met in Australia so far! They welcomed us with drinks and food (they even gave us free dessert to go), and we had an amazing chat with them. We just wish we could've spent more time with them as they were awesome! We will definitely be back next time we're in Tassie.
Honestly if you're around the area, you should check their pub!

Been around the world and never seen a pub to rival the Gretna green! Great representation of true Australian culture. Brad the pub owner is a true gentleman and very welcoming.
Expect to see a roaring fire ??"?

Beer garden out the back!
Jukebox next to a classic pool table! 🎱
And best of all cheap good quality booze ðŸ»
Will never not come here when in Tasmania.
