We had a little impromptu Birthday get together with a group of dear friends.
The dining room has been renovated beautifully, open fire wonderful atmosphere, still with the country pub feel.
Our service was warm, friendly and very efficient. Everyone at our table really enjoyed their meals. I had the pork belly (which I had to share so others could taste), the flavours delicious, and a great wine selection.
Do yourself a favour, great Sunday lunch destination. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing destination and food experience. A crossroads town in a beautiful part of the world. The hosts are A grade and the food is the best pub food you'll ever have. This is not a joke, it really is that good. Go there on Sunday for lunch, sit out the front, and watch the world go by.

i love this place so much. it's me and my family's absolute favourite place to eat. the staff are so friendly and understanding, the food is absolutely incredible, and it always feels homey.
i'm autistic, so it's quite difficult for me to find a food i like due to sensory issues. this makes getting the right nutrients very hard. but this place is my go-to for a good meal! not only does it taste amazing, the texture of the food is great and the drinks are very yum. it's really helped me get the nutrients- especially protein- that i lacked back into my diet. it's pretty rare for me to find a place like this that i actually like, but i love this place. 5/5 stars, definitely recommend for everyone, especially those who like a good pub feed 😎
